Choose Tweed For Your Fall and Winter Wardrobe

Who would have thought - Tweed has made its way back into the fashion world.  You'll find it in every store.  Now how to wear it with style is the question. Making a fashion statement with tweed is ever so easy!

• Don't wear too much tweed at once.  It looks best in small dosages - a pair of tweed pumps, a tweed handbag, or a fitted tweed blazer.  Don't go overboard with tweed.
• Pair it up with solid fabrics - it looks great with a pair of denim jeans, or kakis.  A solid dark color skirt for a formal look, or a bright color for a more casual look
• Make sure your tweed has a plenty of hues of color - that makes it easy to spruce it up with a scarf, a pin, a hat.  Pick a hue in your tweed and run with that for accessories
• Mix fabric textures - add silks or other softer fabrics to your outfit to lessen the harshness of tweed

Worn right tweed makes a wonderful fashion statement - modern and stylish.  Wear it wrong and you might find yourself on that "What Not To Wear" page of your favorite fashion magazine.
